They'll hold more power if they can keep the Congress and Senate. If Trump gets in, there's a very high likelihood that the Senate will become a democratic majority. Congress could too, but that's less likely.

Unless there is some black swan event between now in November, there is little doubt in my mind that Trump is going to win. Even my parents who always vote Left are starting to change their view of Hillary. Many on the Left are beginning to realize how corrupt and evil she is.
