He's red pilled about all kinds of things. Like the Jews, for instance, though he's not overly critical of them. Nietzsche simply notes that Jews invented Christianity to bring the hated Roman Empire to its knees, and makes no value judgment on it.

Nothing comes to mind at the moment. One that I like, but that is not readily available, is Cry Havoc! The Great American Bringdown, which was written by Ralph Toledano, a Sephardic Jew who helped Bill Buckley found National Review. He names the Jew in it (published posthumously, of course), really points out the establishment of Cultural Marxism as a result of Adorno and that lot. Not a well known book, kind of niche, but worth reading if you ever run across it.

I liked the ridiculous cast & how changed between the movies. Also how they clearly only had the limo for one day in the second one & tried to make out it was a different one. Oh and Motorola Xooms being used. If you can get past the general amateur dramatic feel worth a watch though.

Terrible book. I read maybe the 1st half in high school thinking it would have some sort of insight into WWII. Nothing. It is meaningless propaganda intended to be stuck on the shelf of good Nazi members' book cases.
I remember reading along then came the words, "It was then I began to hate the Jews". I thought "wait a minute, I must have missed something", flipped back 20 pages and re-read. Nope, no context.
It's like Hitler & Co in the bunker at the end of WWII, and everybody expects him to say something to put the terrible war and struggle into some meaningful context. It didn't happen. It's interesting and has political implications of what is successful in society, and renders Marxism as just being a failure of applying abstract rational thinking to principles so fundamental to society thry shouldn't be changed. Also full of fun facts. Why liberals tend to have high IQs but are ultimately political failures etc.

Was forced to read it in junior year of high school, easily one of the worst fucking novels I've ever read in terms of being interesting. It's spectacularly written (I think Rand is a spectacular writer, The Fountainhead is a much better read), but the novel has the worst fucking premise, is insanely boring, and has a shit story with awful characters. It's basically:

It's a good theme to explore, but Rand explores it in the most hyperbolic manner. It's slightly comical at first before it eventually becomes pedantic after hundreds of pages (it's a pretty long novel).
Then the last third of the book happens and John Galt (DUDE, individualism, am I right!?!? - the character) gives this long speech (and I'm not fucking kidding, it was dozens and dozens of pages) after hacking a radio to basically spew ultra right-wing propaganda for the author which can basically be summed up as:

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead, admittedly the latter is probably a lot easier to defend as its more about artistic integrity than the entire economic situation of America.
In Shrugged however, I see a lot of parallels between the book and what is going on today. The problem with Rand however is she's just too robotic.
She's an autist.
She doesn't seem to grasp, in her little economic meltdown simulation, the nature of people.
As the entire system collapses, if I correctly recall, there is no violence.
