Most Koreans actually hate plastic surgery, but with it so high quality and widely available it is very common. Ask a girl though and she will get offended/not tell you, even if she has had several procedures. Another thing worth mentioning is that on Korean job applications/college applications you need to submit a picture and they WILL judge you on your appearance. As I said, a very vain country.
I like Korea, I think it's amazing that they managed to build a livable nation from an absolute shithole in 30 years.
