I'm active in local politics.
If I admitted that I hang out here, let alone some of the things I post, I would be kicked off all of the commissions I sit on, and would be shunned by all of the elected officials I'm friends with.

They wouldn't be surprised, I'm very open about my political beliefs because I don't give a shit about what people think about me, I already have a lot of friends and I'm an overall like able person. Lots of people know I openly support trump and they despise him but I've never got treated differently for that. Just don't treat people like shit and you'll be treated with respect
