he wasnt though. he was a good president, all things considered.

like adding 11 trillion in debt and creating isis while taking credit for an economic cycle and saudis flooding the oil market?
>>

Unless you were part of the protected classes that benefited from him, he sucked.
>>
>>75912702
Obviously the people are unhappy with the direction he took the nation in. He can proudly say that he is responsible for an unprecedented hatred between fellow Americans. No other president has made so many Americans want to kill each other.

Because obama sucked so much dick that the Republicans flipped the house and the senate. People are also sick of so called "conservatives" who have conserved absolutely nothing.

easy, he didn't change anything. Didn't stop the wars in the middle east, didn't help americans out of poverty, didn't bring better jobs by supporting H1B visas, didn't charge anyone from wallstreet for the crimes they did during 2008, etc. Obama basically continued all the shit Bush did, so it was like having Bush for 4 terms.
>>
>>75913193
>good president
Really didn't do anything and then all of the sudden during his last term decided to be LGBT Jesus, which only split the nation and turn the whole issue from a rather underground debate into "Good versus evil"

He reduced the deficit, you dumbass.

And his fiscal policy played an important role in pulling the country out of recession. Most economists agree that The Recovery Act was a net gain for the economy.

Whoever America electets is irellevent. You're going to be outbred by legal Mexicans within your lifetime anyway.

Sad story really. Although you are the SJW playground, so just not a surprise.

If I was an American. I'd migrate to somewhere eho a tally likes white people, like Poland or Hungary. And if I was anbamweican with a decent job or education, I'd go to Switzerland.

Come on texas, deficit != debt. You know that.

Yes, Obama technically reduced the deficit, but only because Bush massively increased in the first place (bailouts). He still has much higher deficits than Dubya's first term.

Not surprising.
>>
>>75914641
Trump is the last shot. It would be strong symbolism for him to win.

You have to be delusional to think the United States of America is just going to roll over.
>>
>>75912702
You mean, how did the good goy republicans fail so much with Jew balls in mouth.
>>
>>75914865
You are only supporting my point. He inherited an enourmous deficit and took it down to almost pre-recession levels.

Saying "he increased the debt", while technically true, is incredibly disingenuous without a context, and you know that.
>>
>>75913193
he a gud president, he dindu nuffin
>>
>>75914965
Deficit ≠ Debt, you fucktard.
>>
I think it's less of what Obama did and more of what Republicans did. If it were just Obama people were upset with, they would have voted for any conservative. No, people vote for Trump because the Republican party has taken advantage of them for decades. Giving the promise of prosparity but in reality just making life easier for the rich. At best, they ignored their working class voters, and at worse they actively made their lives worse
>>
>>75914800
The debt is the TOTAL amount of money we owe. The deficit is amount the government over spreads each YEAR. So good for him he reduced the total amount that the government exceeded its spending but he still tripled the amount the government is in debt. That's why I said
>adding is reducing
>>
>>75915132
>almost pre-recession levels
No, not even close. Go read the graph. Deficits were still massive after the recession.
>>
>>75915132
Not spending ridiculous sums of money like Bush was stupid to do isn't impressive and not something to rest your laurels on.
>>
>>75915374
The 2016 deficit is close to what Bush had during his first term, and there's a clear trend of a decreasing deficit.
>>
>>75912702
the same way that bush led to obama
>>
>>75915542
It's much harder to decrease the deficit that to increase it. Obama started his presidency in a hard moment: huge deficits and a recession. I would say he did well.
>>
>>75914965

>Oh noes all those trillions of dollars that we owe Americans how ever will we recover?
>>
>>75915611
Dubya's lowest deficit was $210 billion (he also had one year of a surplus). Obama's lowest deficit is $438 billion. Not even close.

>muh downward trend
That's only because he and Bush both spent like a madmen during the recession.
http://www.davemanuel.com/history-of-deficits-and-surpluses-in-the-united-states.php
>>
>>75915778
It isn't really that hard to stop spending ridiculous amounts of money after the economy was injected with hundreds of billions so your statement, while technically true about being harder to reduce spending, doesn't hold weight because this is reducing a deficit to a more normal level. It's easier to maintain a more normative trend than break a trend.

I don't think he did well at all.

It is close when you compare it with Bush average deficit before the recession, specially considering the fact that the deficit was 1.4 trillion at its highest.

>That's only because he and Bush both spent like a madmen during the recession.

Deficit grows during recessions. That's how fiscal policy works.

>he also had one year of a surplus

Thanks to Clinton.

An unprecedented wave of racist anti-white violence, the reporting of which was suppressed outright or explained away as non-racial crime or protesting.
An unprecedented streak of public mass shootings by government employees, sometimes in government offices, once a week for a year straddling 2012 and 2013.
An jobless malaise celebrated in the media as a recovery.
The mask coming off genocidal elites as a result of their arrogance and how long they had not been challenged.
The Amnesty and Fast And Furious, literal government collusion with hostile foreign governments and criminal organizations.
Government sponsorship and defense of ISIS, and the ben-Ghazi incident.
The Iran pushover deal.
Homosexual activists persecuting and closing small businesses, and being lauded for it in the media.
Unprecedented criminality by the IRS and EPA.
Suspicious deaths of administration critics, opponents, and Second Amendment personalities.

Because Racism is still a huge issue in America. Rednecks can't handle the idea of a Black President so they swung far to the right, that's literally all there is to it. You can pretend like it isn't but deep down you know it to be true.
>>
>>75912702
Donald Trump is the manifest, gigantic middle finger that the American people are giving to members of both parties, the 'establishment' and the Federal government.
He is affiliated with neither and his laundry is clean.
If something nefarious happens and Hillary is somehow elected, I'm afraid that the pendulum could swing to two extremes, total outright refusal to comply, or government crackdown on opposition.

Do you really believe that?
>>
>>75920383
Yes I do.
To become president is a massive pay cut and interruption of his lifestyle.
No one can argue that Trump doesn't love America, doesn't love the American Dream, and is extremely successful in many difficult fields.
He's a far better candidate than any party has produced in generations.

To be honest, the economy breaking was both Democrats/Republicans fault, starting with Clinton deregulating banks in 1999, and then Bush pushing the agenda further in 2002-2006.

And likewise, the following "recovery" was merely the Fed using ZIRP to pump trillions into the stock market and private industry, creating a massive debt bubble we have right now. Look at the DOW, it's been sideways for 18 months, with TWO -15% corrections in that time period. The economy is not fixed, just merely on life support until the election is over.
