It directly influenced how people made laws and governed their people in the decades after it, which we still deal with today. It led to certain mindsets being instilled in the boomers, most of which are still alive now and still being obnoxiously loud. Only another world war will help push ww2 out, after all the comparisons between the wars are done being made.
