But isn't that hypocritical.

You made a huge point of calling those people idiots for ignoring those things.

That makes you an idiot too, doesn't it? I mean, this man literally wrote down that you should swindle people out of the things you want. He wants your vote. How do you know that any of the things he says aren't just swindling for that end?

What has he done to earn that trust? I'm very confused, like a Bernie supporter would be.

http://fortune.com/2016/06/01/trump-university-sales-playbooks/

>During one-on-one conversations, “you may begin with some small-talk to establish rapport but do not let them take control of the conversation,” a playbook reads. “You must be very aggressive during these conversations to in order to push them out of their comfort zones.”

>“If they complain about the price, remind them that Trump is the BEST!! This is the last real estate investment they will ever need to make.”

>For those who have hit credit limits, employees are told to suggest they dip into savings or identify other “seed capital.”

>“Money is never a reason for not enrolling in Trump University; if they really believe in you and your product, they will find the money,” a playbook reads.

I sat in on a conference for a pyramid scheme once. It's... exactly the same.
>>
>>75861555
Seriously, this is the worst election to date EVER. The choice is between Trump (a bit shady after this revelations and surely unpredictable) and that warmonger cunt $hillary (e-mail, bengazi, shitty secretary, corrupt fundation, proven liar and cold blooded).
Fuck those two, still, I'd pick Trump over $hill because there's no other choice.

Hey burger, read the fucking documents, I'll laugh hard when the court will determine that isn't a scam. The whole document has recommendations not to circumvent the clients, they have no ground for "fraud" accuses, the clients were presented a product they willingly bought.

the toppling of foreign governments when vying for land or control, the deals made to secure oil rights, the racketeering organizations that are supposed to help people but instead prey upon them, the liberties given up under the guise of freedom to enact more control upon the masses, and pretty much the entirety of the corrupt american corporatocracy and all other atrocities committed worldwide in the name of greed are not "arbitrary."

>unsubstantiated bias against businessmen
this has far less to do with businessman than it has to do with the attitude that leads to such controlling entities. if you're in favor of these tactics, then surely you must support israel and the rothschilds as well?

Anyone thats butthurt about this clearly knows jack shit about business seminars, they are hugely popular, quite expensive, and whether they help you or not is completely dependent on your own abilities and some luck as with any business venture.

>smart businessman
I see you've bought into the "good at business" meme as well. if you think trump is a "smart businessman," then I have news for you: you bought what he was selling.

the most effective way of propaganda is the one making you believe that you are creating your own opinions from an unbiased information. they are continually feeding you partial information which leads to the desired outcome/opinion, then the human ego comes in - the result you've created is a part of you. you put it together. you made the effort, spent the time and energy, and anyone questioning it is questioning you your ego, so now you are ready to fight for it, to fight for yourself. the mainstream media aren't the only people who use this method. this is where we are; they who control the media control the people. they are the only communication link between those in power and the common folk. ask yourself what you've seen on 4chan outside of memes.

and look up virtue epistemology and effective altruism when you get the time.

He's a businessman, I don't get why people are trying to act surprised when he acts greasy. It's just like him outsourcing production of his clothing line to Malaysia, of course he's going to try and make as much money as possible, he's a fucking businessman.

Be happy you have someone willing to give up their career and work for America and end all the corrupt shit that only a businessman will truly know of.

People who think this is bad are incredibly naive. They have no idea about the crazy marketing and sales manipulation that goes on in all advertisements, with data taken from their Gmail and Facebook.

let me put it as simply as possible: if philosophy were taught in schools, if our government weren't controlled by the rich without letting the majority of people have an actual voice, and if people weren't so blinded by fear and greed, then the world would be a much better place and humanity as a whole could work together to advance. everything I do in my life works toward these ends.

You're missing the point.

These are the same tactics that Jewish people use to con people out of their hard earned cash, and then they charge exorbitant interest fees to guarantee that they make a grotesque profit. This type of scheming led to the 2008 crash. Subprime mortgage crisis; ever heard of it?

You can blame the poor people and the victims, but don't defend the actions of scummy individuals. If you want to defend this, fine; just don't be fucking hypocritical about shit. If you're going to defend this Trump shit, then you stand behind the tactics many Jews utilize in business as well.

My dad is Ashkenazi Jew and my mother is Jamaican. Trust me, I know this shit when I see it.

Well the sales tactics are sure nasty, but at the end of all of this, had anyone felt disserviced? Like, it's only harmful when after a year you look back and say "man, I was scammed like a fucking child". As much as I know, the case is ripping apart because they can't find anyone to complain about it. Is this truly a bad thing then?

Don't you feel awful after spending all this time butting heads on an anonymous image board? Even if you spin this as a personal victory later you won't be able to avoid that terrible feeling. Responding to you, I say people were in the gray zone of awareness-non awareness.
The course wasn't good as expected, I won't call it a fraud.
People were attracted by Trump's brand but there is nothing in the documents or in the depositions that prove a circumventing act from the staff.
This is a case for a court, not for the media.

Philosophy is an arbitrary way of thinking. You can presume and presume but you can't teach a pig to sing. People are INHERENTLY self concerned. Even your "good deeds" are about making YOU happy.
"I want to help people."
"Why?"
"Because it makes me feel good."

You're still doing something for yourself.

It was a classic real estate seminar (albeit overpriced). I think it was better than usual for seminars because they did have 1-on-1 tutors going specifically on personal gameplans. This is why everyone marked high scores on the way out, because they felt like there was value.

Is it lying to genuinely make friends with someone to sell something?

Because that's what a good salesman does, finds something that makes him like the customer and displays something that makes the customer like him. This forms a friendship and now it doesn't matter what you're selling because the person likes you and therefore the product.

Even with a totally legitimate product or a charity, this making and then abandoning of friends is emotionally exhausting but if there's any shonkiness at all it's like befriending someone just to stab them in back and only a psycho wouldn't feel guilt.

If universities were actually for-profit and the government was fucking everyone over, people would be better trained and have less debt heading out. The new-media online courses that cost $30 are going to make the scam which is modern university education die.

Missing the point.

The same tactics and rhetoric are being used, you fucking imbecile. Ever heard of the "gift of gab?" You're clearly purposefully ignoring the overarching point and completely misinterpreting my main thesis to stick to a narrative.

If you defend this type of bullshit, you defend the overwhelming majority of Jewish tactics to take money from goyim. I have fucking SEEN this with my own eyes. My dad works as a fucking architect because he despised following the practice of his father/my grandfather, who is a fucking ~businessman~.

You are entitled only to the sweat of your brow and the sweat of those who work for you, who you give a fair wage for the work they do. You're not entitled to the sweat of other people's brow for swindling them.

The government didn't tell the banks to do anything. The banks took the initiative to sell loans to people they knew couldn't pay the loan back by filling them up with false promises, outright lies and just horrific fraud. Read/watch the court proceedings and what went on in court. Read The Big Short and Liar's Poker while you're at it because you clearly don't know shit, you stupid fuck.

If you can afford to make less, make less.

What is the point in arguing about any of this shit? Who cares if Trump's University sucks? Who cares if Trump says something mean? Trump could jerk off to gay midget scat porn for all I care, I'm not voting for him based on all this non policy shit. I'm voting for him because he's going to stop this mass immigration and use Reagan era economics to bring jobs back to America. That and because the other 2 choices at this point both believe in open borders, and one of them thinks Socialism works, and the other doesn't even have political beliefs past what Soros tells her to believe.

Which basically means "This course didn't teach me what it said it would teach me." Unless they were teaching finger painting or something the lawsuits probably won't go through. They're probably going in with the mindset of 'These courses sucked!' but as long as they actually taught what they said they were going to teach, they can be as shitty and unhelpful as they want them to be and not get sued for it.

Obviously what's written in the playbooks are ethically dubious (encouraging people to max out their credit cards to pay when they say they don't have the money, for example), but there are a lot of these multilevel seminars out there designed to fleece economically desperate people and the retired looking to make an extra buck in real estate, and it's not illegal to do so as long as these seminars are advertised honestly.

>>75876962
The fraud is in how it was advertised. Trump had almost nothing to do with the material being taught or the instructors hired to teach the material, despite misleading marketing saying otherwise and instructors being taught to mislead students about knowing Trump himself despite never even meeting the man (there's instructions in the released playbook telling instructors to relay a story about a nugget of deep real estate knowledge dropped by Trump himself while having dinner with the man), and that he might drop by at some point to talk personally with the students (he never did). Most of the instructors also had limited to no experience in real estate despite being advertised as real estate experts hand-picked by Trump himself.
>>

You are now aware that all tuition based education employs hard sell tactics to secure recruits for the tuition con.

This is why there is such a colossal student loan debt in the US. It was sold to them as beneficial.
