It's a shit map, and not consistent - some of France is highlighted, yet only Cornwall and Devon in England, when there remained Celtic Kingdoms in Cumbria long after the Franks conquered Gaul.

Also, this. The only areas of large Germanic admixture are York, Orkney and Shetland. (from Vikings). Even Essex and Kent remain largely Celtic, despite being the sites of major Anglo-Saxon settlement.
The Norman and Roman invasions have left barely any noticeable change on the genetics of England.

I don't know about culture - England is clearly more culturally similar to Wales, Scotland and Ireland than any of them are to Brittany.
English folk music seems almost assuredly Celtic.
I thought the map was based on language - but Galician is not recognised as Celtic by official organisations, and now Wales, Scotland and Ireland are majority English-speaking nations.
