If the economy is doing so swimmingly why is the tax base still eroding and real income levels still below their 2008 levels? Why are Interest rates still at zero? Yea they might raise them for the first time in years soon but If the US had truly recovered they should have been risen ages ago and already be at 3-4%
Instead they're still at zero during the peak of the business cycle and people are worried that raising them might send a shock through the economy
The US economy is on life support and stats like employment are totally fucking worthless in the bigger picture. As soon as the next market crash happens all the rickety supports that Obama and the Fed have put under the US economy to keep it from completely collapsing will be swept out from underneath It and the US will come crashing down hard, and take the rest of the world with it.
