The unifying (though incomplete) nature of the Catholic Church until the Reformation period is rationally undeniable. It centralized knowledge and united nations under a single banner while allowing them to remain distinct from one another.
There is literally no evidence that the crusades were done with the intent of looting, even the worst of them.
Christianity repressed no knowledge until the Catholic ban texts listing well into the Reformation era. You're buying the "Christians destroyed the Greek texts" narrative that has no evidence to itself. With the downfall of Rome and not much interest in preserving the Greek epics and such they faded out of circulation in western Europe until the Christians of Constantinople brought what the Orthodox and Islamics had from their experience with Hellenist culture.
And important Greek works didn't fall from circulation. There's good reason why Aquinas was improving upon Aristotle's metaphysical framework before the "transmission of the Greeks into Europe" began.

I used to be an atheist (although born and raised in catholic family) simply because I couldn't find any evidence for God, and all religions are really similar in many ways, I found it too much of a coincidence.
But as I was slowly redpilling myself on many different subjects I realized that religion (roman catholic church to be exact) is one of the main ingredients for our glorious white civilization.
When europe was truly religious we were masters of the whole world, we colonised and conquered other continents and brought them our civilization.
But then something bad happened. Europe was getting farther and farther away from God and the church, western nations are mostly all atheist now and look what has happened with the absence of God.
Degeneracy is at it's peak, families are getting rekt, feminazis movements are ruining woman, jews imposing their propaganda andm any people fell for it.
This is how I realized that we NEED religion to keep our values and our civilization strong, no matter if it's real or not.
