The market is sorting this out as well. If gun owners want to put a device in their guns preventing them from being shoot if they want to active them, they should be allowed to do them. Eventually the market will get rid of guns in the same way we got rid of bows and arrows. One day we might have a phraser that stops people in place and doesn't kill or harm anyone. Everything should be left to the market.
