The Greek word for the coloured part of your eye is Iris which meant colour. Why would a swarthy people call the ring around their eye the word for colour if they were all brown? It would only make sense if they had all different eye colours. Also many Roman emperors were described as blond, and ones that had black hair that have kinda tanish skin were described as "swarthy". This makes sense since the earliest British church, the Culdean church, was formed around 37 AD. Prior to Roman influence. They were waiting for Jesus. You guys usually misinterpret what paternal or maternal lineages mean when analyzed on a whole population. I am going to try to explain it, pay attention please.
Imagine a population had a 90% R1b frequency. That means, indeed, that you can backtrace the paternal lineage back to the first R1b. Now Imagine that maternal lineages are also 90% european.
Can such a population be non-european? No, there is no way. Why? Because if there was a lot of non european admixture, it would mean that on the family tree, inbetween paternal and maternal lineages, there would be a lot of non-european ancestors. When you analyze the whole population, the linages of those non-europeans would be present anywhere, and they are not.
Unless you make the suposition that all the carriers of the european paternal lineage magically mated all the carriers of the european maternal lineage the generation just before the individuals you chosed to make the study. In other words, imposible.
If a population is not european there will always be a big percentage of non-european lineages.
