Doubt he cares at this point, he won two terms as PM, increased the Tory majority, unless the Tory's completely collapse they'll still be in power in 2020 and Scotland's still chained up in the union. If they do kick him out he just goes up to the Lords and takes a couple of profitable company directorships.

Cameron is pretty much universally hated.
Conservatives only won the last general with ~35% of the vote. So right away, 65% of the country is against him. And of that 35% many just disliked him less than anyone else or voted tory out of principle. Out of everyone I talk to regardless of age, race, wealth etc they almost always have a negative opinion of him. His actual approval rate must be like 10%
