There have many other genocides which do not get the same publicity, and that is perhaps wrong in many ways. The Jews do seem to have the monopoly on suffering. But is it surprising really? The Nazis set themselves up with propaganda to be the most visually iconic Dictatorship of all time. It stands to reason that the holocaust, the way it was orchestrated and the context in which it occurred as part of the most famous War of all time, would be the most "iconic" of all mass genocides.
The commies may have killed more, Pol Pot et al may have carried out equally heinous atrocities. But you can't deny that the Holocaust was an actual thing?

Infact the real number is somewhere close to 80-120 thousand, 30-40 thousand of them perished in Auschwitz.
