She's using the eggs of a younger woman. The genetic material isn't compromised. She's a little old to be doing that in her womb though, I imagine she'd hire a surrogate.
For all you know her daughter is her only child. Hell if that is the case its the only way said father (grandpa) and her can continue the bloodline.

Why is she insane for this? She can continue her bloodline in the name of her daughter who was not alive to do so. Even more so, the daughter willingly had her eggs frozen for a reason, why not use it?
