We wanted proof that the #notallmuslims faggots were full of shit. And lo and behold, the stereotypical villains from an 80s movie start showing up and killing people in increasingly wacky ways.

Looting, extortion, other criminality. A lot of their core organizational leaders are former Saddam loyalists. I'm sure they also receive a lot of money from wealthy donors in the Gulf and some Islamic charitues.

Assad

The rebels had more land, and were actually admired throughout the whole world as the oppressed people who have taken arms against their dictator leader

Assad creates ISIS, and aides them, so that they would infiltrate and radicalize the rebels (this isn't even conspiracy theories, this is ACTUAL FACT - Assad DID release extremist radical Sunni clerics from prison, to go to rebel areas and radicalize them), and make them form a really brutal and violent state, that violates more human rights than Assad, and is hated more than Assad.

Now this state can go around, fighting the other rebels as well, taking most of their territory, while also fighting Assad (just enough, so Assad can tell the whole world how he is in a "state of total war with terrorism", and how he is the only one really fighting ISIS).

Now the rebellion is crushed, having only a few patches of Syria remaining (since ISIS took all of their territories), and once there is no more rebellion territories left, and just ISIS and Assad, Assad can start taking ISIS territories by force, by then having full support of the entire world to do it, because he is no longer fighting rebels, he is fighting extremist terrorists, and eventually either take all of Syria back, or keep his Alawite stronghold safe, while the rest of Syria is a perpetual battlefield

As for Russia, they don't give two shits about Assad, or Syria, and they just want their naval and air bases in Latakia

Muslims do this shit all the time but some one is giving them all the TOW's and the other shit they are using. The US gives Saudi Arabia knowing full well that they will give them to ISIS and Turkey are openly buying oil from them while the US makes zero effort to bomb their oil fields.
>>
The actual backing is only from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, but the main reason ISIS is 'winning' is because they're perfectly positioned to wreck the problem groups of their neighbors.

>>75057477
A thousand years ago, Muslims made a caliphate that actually advanced science, and created universities, not burn them down, and call science/maths the work of the devil

I find it hard to believe that ISIS and the Abbasids follow the same ideology, when one literally shut down every university in their conquered territory and replaced them with Sharia schools, and the other built unversities, and had scholars so reputable, that Europeans would travel to the Middle East to learn from them

Or are you suggesting, if ISIS does win, then after a while when things settle down, they would start building universities, and developing, and having scholars and shit like that?

>>

By your logic, all modern science is just a meme, because they all built up upon something someone before them did, and those people built up on something someone before them did, and if you go back far enough, it was ancient persians, byzantines, and indians (who also built up on something someone before them did)

Catholic monks also translated books in the same period the early Caliphate did, and yet it's considered a Dark Age for Europe while it was a Golden Age for the muslims. Why? Double standards. We're so used to muslims being destructive savages that the idea of them sitting down and translating Greco-Roman works into Arabic seems like a miracle.
>>
>>75058299
>>75058498
A lot of Arabic works from the Middle Ages are also considered original because they burned down the Latin and Greek documents they took them from.

>It's considered a dark age for Europe
literally no rational person believes in the European Dark Age meme being that serious

And are you actually going to claim that absolutely no Arabic/Muslim scientist has come up with a scientific theory, that wasn't just translated word-for-word from another civilization's text, and nothing was added on to it?
>>
>>75054216
I don't think they are really "controlled"
Initially they were funded by the US.
Just like Germans initially funded communism in czarian Russia
Just like Americans initially funded the Nazis
Just like Americans initially funded the Taliban

country elites and secret services fund movement in other countries, but they never can fully control them. But they don't really have to. Mostly these movements just create chaos. Isis would be pretty easy to destroy, but the west doesn't do it, because chaos in the middle east is more useful to them.
>>
>>75058766
Just as the European Dark Age is a meme, so is the Islamic Golden Age. What I'm saying is the main things they're given credit for such as algebra and "Arabic" numerals are taken from other civilizations, and while they might have made some additions, they didn't contribute anything on the scale of the Renaissance or even Ancient Rome.
>>
>>75057729
>Assad DID release extremist radical Sunni clerics from prison

This is actually true. It happened back in 2001, during the Damascus Spring. Though, he had good intentions back there and really thought that this was a good idea.
>>
>>75058766
It's not like they didn't give credit to where they got their ideas from

eg. The Book of Bringing Together and Separating According to the Hindu Calculation

>>75058967
Khawarizmi most certainly did come up with his own ideas, which had some basis in Indian/Greek mathematics/philosophy, he certainly did put forward radical additions, and huge changes, that form modern algebra today

Greeks talked about algebra, but they didn't solve any of the problems, they just put them forward, and said "there might be a way based on such-and-such methods, to solve these problems". Mathematicians like Khawarizmi actually solved them, and wrote books about their applications

Angela Armstrong write:
"Al-Khwarizmi's text can be seen to be distinct not only from the Babylonian tablets, but also from the Diophantus' Arithmetica. It no longer concerns a series of problems to be resolved, but an exposition which starts with primitive terms in which the combinations must give all possible prototypes for equations, which henceforward explicitly constitute the true object of study.
J. J. O'Connor and E. F. Robertson wrote in the MacTutor History of Mathematics archive:
"Perhaps one of the most significant advances made by Arabic mathematics began at this time with the work of al-Khwarizmi, namely the beginnings of algebra. It is important to understand just how significant this new idea was. It was a revolutionary move away from the Greek concept of mathematics which was essentially geometry. Algebra was a unifying theory which allowed rational numbers, irrational numbers, geometrical magnitudes, etc., to all be treated as "algebraic objects". It gave mathematics a whole new development path so much broader in concept to that which had existed before, and provided a vehicle for future development of the subject. Another important aspect of the introduction of algebraic ideas was that it allowed mathematics to be applied to itself in a way which had not happened before."[6]

Russia, at least indirectly. Pretty much all of ISIS' funding flows through Russian banks. The more atrocities and attention on ISIS takes attention away from Russia's actions in Ukraine, especially in regards to ethnic cleansing of Tatars and MH17.

This is what I am trying to emphasize in that post
They didn't just "copy" and translate

I know you can hate Muslims, and their history, for completely justifiable reasons, but don't let hatred cloud your view for facts and history. That is such a beta thing to do, and I would expect that from liberals and cucks.

How would you like it if a time comes when whites are so hated, that everyone just denies what whites have done for science, and claim it was stolen from Egyptians and Indians?

The plan was to use ISIS as a proxy army to remove Assad and when that was done they would just move in and put their own puppet in power.

Khwarizmi was, I'm fairly sure, born Zoroastrian, in addition to being ethnically Persian, who are Indo-Aryan as opposed to the Semitic Arabs. But this was about religion and not race, so I guess that's not important here.

You do bring up good points, though. I will admit it's hard to think of muslims in anything other than a negative light given all the shit going on in the current year.

yup, I laughed at the statement for that reason

Killed Saddam --> Iraq goes to shit
Killed Gaddafi --> Libya goes to shit

The real problem is the borders that don't fit according the ethnic regions in the area. That's why authoritarian regimes are useful in the area to prevent separatists from gaining support. Saddam was a badass at killing terrorists and Gaddafi kept the border of the Sahara safe from migrants

They were killed mostly to maintain the US oil monopoly (because it is traded in dollars)

-Saddam wanted to trade oil in euros
-Gaddafi wanted to trade oil for gold

>tl;dr the USA did it in the long run

There are almost 10 million people living in the Islamic State.
