Dude, it's going to flop. Cavill and Afflect are relvant actors with current franchises. No one has heard of a ghostbusters movie since the 80s. They had two and the second one sucked. People aren't interested anymore. It's too late.
Also, the casting: the line up of new GBs are all women who people barely heard of and who have no star power.
And the writing is terrible. The trailers do look really unfunny. And the style of humour is definitely not the original GB humour which people loved - dry, witty, irreverent, ironic. Instead it's slapstick and gags and lots and lots of hollering by that silverback. It's the generic, low-brow Hollywood comedy script with GB uniforms thrown in to make it a "GB movie". But spirit of it is all wrong. Fans have taken note and won't see it. It's a betrayal of Ramis' original vision.
So the new GB has nothing going for it - not the casting, writing, or timing.
