Is your job threatened by automation?

I'm in software engineering so no, it isn't. If it ever gets to the stage where people are comfortable letting computers program themselves completely then I know that universal income will have been a thing for decades beforehand and we will probably be colonizing other planets or be locked in a huge perpetual orgy of lazy unemployed people and society will collapse.
I don't think they can automate barbers and hairdressing. At least elite segment where I work. It envolves personal human contact and and creativity with it.
It's going to be awhile before they can automate wildlands firefighting, but I expect it eventually. With the rise of automation in the forestry sector its just a matter of time until certain hazardous jobs (faller for example) will be something humans don't do.
i negotiate contracts for a living, so probably not. by the time robotic entities are negotiating contracts between one another, humanity will be extinct or a biological curiosity.
My job description in general? Yes
My particular job at my particular company? No

same here, at least until 2039 (per mr. kurzweil)
that's why i'm pretty frugal and saving every dollar i can.

Nope, you can't automate an architect.
Most likely if you aren't worthy of life.
