Harper was our George Bush. He was better than Trudeau in the way that Bush was better than Obama but that's about it.
He was a puppet for the Alberta oil companies out west and those oil lobbyists pushed and pushed to get keystone XL set up. He did nothing about immigration and allowed the Chinese government to continually seize Canadian assets, Canadian properties and Canadian jobs. He's a republican globalist Neocon like the Americans with a basic acceptance of Canadian socialists and none of the Jesus freak shit.
Furthermore, he's an Albertan, which is fucking ironic given the horse fuckers out west love their big bad easter boogeyman every time something goes wrong when it was their own man who crashed the economy by basing it exclusively on oil exports.
