Can anyone explain to me the whole liberal brainwashing/indoctrination thing people always talk about with college/university? I'm in college for engineering right now and not really seeing it, but probably because it isn't a very good platform to talk about social issues or politics. I had to take a "college writing" class and the teacher was obviously liberal, but not to the point where it seemed to have any bearing on the course material.
Any insight or personal experiences on this? I'm really curious what makes these people become so insane.

I can't explain it myself either, it's kinda scary once you think it about it. Honestly throughout all my years on /pol/ seeing this happen at colleges around the country. I could sit there and just laugh or rage thinking that something like that would never happen at my school. Right around Trayvon and the recent anti Trump gathering I accidentally went to I was dead wrong.
The fact that some people on my campus labeled me as a "Person of Color"really frightens me.

It really depends on your school and how "early" it started with this crap.
The vicious circle is usually
1.Liberal/Gender Studies pushed by some professors
2.Students getting railed into it
3.Students graduate with a useless degree
4.Students must go back to school as professors to earn a living
5.Repeat 1.
That's also one of the hidden reasons why everyone is pushing for more stupid degrees and courses, there's a lot of people looking for a job with their useless piece of paper.

In my state indoctrination starts on kids 9-10 years old. After that, the only thing schools teach are how evil white people are.

wtf state are you in? Or region anyway. I'm down south and the teachers refer to the civil war as "the war of northern aggression", and largely blame it on the north with a sufficient amount of "slavery was bad, BUT" peppered in. The Native American thing isn't really harped on either.
Of course when WWII comes up it's full blown propaganda mode though, I assume that's nation wide.

"Indoctrination" also needs a precise methology, you can't just drill stuff into a kid's head and hope it'll stuck.
I had one math teacher who loved her white guilt and starving african children, at some point she even brought some adopted child in her classroom wich in retrospective was incredibly disgusting since the kid couldn't even speak pasta and was obviously treated more like a trophy.
Needless to say there wasn't a single kid in any of our classes who gave a fuck about her "lessons" and at one point some of our mothers told her to drop it and start teaching us some damn math.
But again this is south Italy, we're as thick as a brick.
They speak about the "Enlightenment" period as though it was a good thing and not the beginning of the end; they cover up the crimes of the French Revolution and pretend that the American Revolution was legitimate; they do not reveal the horrors of the Bolshevik revolution.
They say that everyone should have freedom of speech, but not when it contradicts modern socialist values because that is "hate speech".
They pretend that all religions are equal.
They act as if immigration and multiculturalism are good things.
They speak of the theory of evolution as an accomplished fact, and want to give you the impression that anyone who doesn't think the world was created by cosmic trial-and-error, and that life is a meaningless accident, is stupid.
The Jews are a holy and immaculate people that have never done anything wrong and cannot be criticised under any circumstances, lest there be another shoah.
The Muslims are an exotic eastern people that must be respected because most of them are brown immigrants; their religion adds culture to western society. Christianity, on the other hand, is for stupid, backwards white people.
They pretend that men and women are equal in every respect, that a man has no inherent authority over a woman, and that it's preferable for women to work rather than stay at home and raise children.
They allow a college culture which promotes promiscuity, contraception, and abortion, which is immoral behaviour which makes monogamous marriage harder to practice later in life, so more families end up broken. They think divorce should be kept legal, when clearly it should be made illegal because it destroys the family which is the foundation of society.
They think that pornography should be legal, when clearly it adds nothing whatsoever to the good of society.
They put out the idea that there is a population and environmental crisis so we should stop having children.
