I saw a trailer for some film about a Ugandan (Black) female Chess World Champion.
Did they use deceptive language to imply she was a particularly noteworthy player outside of the "African Chess scene (lol)" or is this legit? I can't make much sense out of the lingo in the Wikipedia article.
