I think most American whites are afraid of black people lowering their real estate values and bringing crime and other social unrest into white communities. Not that there isn't social unrest and crime in white communities, but blacks somehow have a blatant jungle demonstration aspect to their negative behaviors. They also don't want their children bringing home a black person since black people are third-class citizens and make things embarrassing for family prestige and social standing.
