Having borders isn't being authoritarian. Demanding that laws be followed isn't authoritarian. The only reason they let all those immigrants in is to provide cheap labor for corporations. This causes unemployment which is mitigated with welfare (which everyone has to pay (to subsidize corporations even more in a way)).
It's the corporations that cry authoritarianism when you try to cut into their profits. Sometimes it has to be done and they know it.
Overall Trump will deregulate, protect native industries, eliminate some government-enforced monopolies and lower taxes. But he's an "authoritarian" because multinationals will have to earn their profits in a way that doesn't damage society as much. Oy vey.
But they're not actually saying that he's an authoritarian though... just that he managed to pick up their vote and "it's scary", kek.
