The best part of the game is realizing how many strategies are viable. Honestly one of my favorites though is using the Hojo Clan + Tech rush to make impregnable castles while I indulge my inner Jew and use upgraded buildings to build a massive war chest. Then in the late game I just Zergr rush my way across the island with super cheap units in a massive war of attrition.

Personally I love company of heroes [1 and expansions] although the Allies and Nazi balance can be a little too delicate at times were one team knows the map and can work together and take the field early. However it's so innovative it's fun because distractions and positioning backfire like a mother fucker and blobs of units don't always work. I think same factions not being able to verse each other was a aesthetic choice anyway and gave some life to this game at this point.
