His brand of communism was focuses on social justice for the poor people, conditions in South America at the time were unfair, as they was lots of Corruption and US manipulation. He went the extra mile for his beliefs and didn't just settle down when he got a comfortable goverment job but went to fight (in his mind) social injustice in the world... Despite being misguided he is a true hero. How many people now would die for there cause? Except for Islamist of course.
