The left isn't meant to give solutions. At best, it can better distribute existing resources produced by right-wing governments, provided they are plentiful. At worst, it can regress society and increase corruption.

Because the left have to overcome something. They are very good at it, necessary even. When a repressive government controls its citizens to much and abuses its power, that doesnt always mean the Right, the Left rise up and tear it down. Which is a good thing.
However once thats done they need to hand it over to someone else.
E.g. they are a crowbar that unjams a stuck door, but you cant replace the door with a crowbar, you need to get a new door.
