Is America still the greatest? If not, can it be? Or is arguing which nation is "the greatest" a moot point anyway?
All I can say is that there are things that other countries are better than us at. We're also stepping over our own values, and our own Constitution. Patriotism means seeing the faults of this country and wanting to better it. Blind patriotism is like a crackhead mother. She says she loves her kid but she overlooks his whooping cough and bruises from his abusive father.

The general population is getting poorer and poorer, hate their jobs and are overworked. Your vast middle class that once was the envy of the world is mostly gone already. You never solved your health care problem. Your public spending is out of control with little to show for it in terms of infrastructure development and public services quality. We are the greatest, however, that's only because we're not facing any particularly stiff competition. Look at the other "Superpowers". China is a corrupt, overpopulated, scumhole with a government that's all bark no bite. Russia has its share of corruption, and is poor as all fuck, although they're improving by the day. And Europe? Not only are they divided and weak militarily, their only redeeming factors, the culture, people, and history is all being overrun by subhumans. If America gets better, the rest of the developed world will likely follow suit, so we cannot fuck this up. Trump NEEDS to be elected.

depends on your definition of "greatest". Greatest at what? Our economy is the biggest given our vast amount of resources and our countries spending power. Our countries military is the greatest because we spend more then the next ten countries combined. Our political system.. eh.
