My cute little springer was very social and friendly with people and dogs, except for black dogs which he always wanted to attack. He was never attacked by a black dog or anything like so we didn't know where it came from. Strange huh

I have 2 German Shepherds. My oldest one hates Mexicans she growls or barks at them why they mow the lawns next door. Now it wasn't a problem in Oklahoma but now that we live in Arizona it's much worse.

We have a dog park near our house. If you aren't familiar it's where people bring other dogs to all play with each other's. The dogs nearly all play nice but there is always one asshole.

I have a dog park like 20 meters from my house and it's great, but I've had similar encounters like you've said.
These dogs understand more than we like to give them credit for, both my Siberian Husky and Schäfer knows when to stop, knows their size can be a problem when playing with other dogs and so on.
They always know when to take control of a situation, it's actually quite interesting to watch.
Glad the owner of that dog didn't do anything other than leave, some stories I've heard have ended not so well.

Yeah for sure, though, I think this is more limited to European countries, but I've heard some calling the police and having the dog put down because "it's rabid" or could be a "threat", which is quite insane.

Superior breed of dogs. My German Shepard is friendly, but absolutely dislikes blacks and Mexicans. He can sense cucks and liberals.
I have a belgian shepard. Insanely loyal, intelligent and makes a great family dog.
But they are very perceptive, and still have some instinct.
If properly trained, you can walk them without a leash. But woe to that stupid aggressor who challenges me, or my family. Even if he has a gun, he better be trained to shoot my dog, cause otherwise, things will be over within 2 seconds.

It's gonna be educated by one of our shepard dogs, as is natural for them. Maybe it's very young, than that's okay. Otherwise, you've probably been a negligent owner, or you have a problem dog...
