Nope. There's many psychoactive compounds in jenk and the high is entirely separate from that produced by hypoxia. Which you'd know if you'd ever tried the stuff.
I recommend starting with a mild strain such as Alaskan or Northwestern Butthash. Alternatively just make your own; if you don't make any special preparations the stuff will be pretty weak. Funny story though.
When I was in high school, I was in class and my teacher gave some of us some grapefruit he picked from one of his trees. I took one, and it tasted fucking awful. As I joke I vomited into an empty water bottle I had with me. I put the bottle in my backpack and forgot about it for about a week. When I found it, I thought it was funny, so I started cracking open batteries and throwing it into the vomit bottle, and started throwing random stuff in there to see how fast it would dissolve. The gasses that would be created by the bottle were flammable as well. I would set the bottle in my window sometimes to heat it up, and one day my dad found it. He opened it up and SMELLED IT! He had heard of Jenkim before, he called it "Gen-Chem" because that's what he saw on the news that week. He got all pissed because he thought I was huffing shit and piss. But little did he know it was just fermenting flammable vomit. He took it and set it in the garage, and I forgot about it for a couple months. I don't know what happened to it after that. This post just reminded me of it
