>"I don't think you can argue against the facts here," Mr Dutton said.
>"I'm not going to stand back from what I said
>"Many [refugees] come here with no English.

This is racist in the year 2016

WTF Australia what are you doing.
>>
Man that image macro is getting old.

And yes. Its possible to both compete for low skilled labor and be on welfare at the same time. That's the entire point of welfare, to help those low-wage workers who can't quite make ends meet.

Unless you're a nigger of course, because then you see it as your income.

Since immigrants are a group and not an individual, yes; they can do both at the same time.

God damn, that is a stupid image.
>>
Daily reminder that the huge number of leftist Australians on this site will support Get Up message, or will hold their noses and vote left for >muh autism bux.
>>
Even if they couldn't do both at the same time(they can) what is wrong with wanting them to do neither? Are we supposed to be happy if they only take jobs or only take welfare?
>>
I don't actually think this will hurt the Libs. Least of all with the ALP getting one of its offices raided, a candidate quitting and the whole negative gearing thing.

So long as more votes don't go to the Greens.

>>74450673
Hes not the man for the job, thats for sure. years ago when he was just starting out i used to work in the building next to his office and i've met him a number of times, had a bunch of morning teas etc. and government sponsored shit and seen how he talks to people. hes almost retarded, as though he was pushed into politics by someone else and then given a leg up. truly a shit-tier politician. even just talking to people normally you can tell theres something off with this cunt, hes not all there. brain of a fucking eggplant. hes an embarrassment to the movement thats fo sho.
>>
People actually do work jobs while receiving welfare to get extra money. They just get paid under the table. I thought this was well-known.

>Refugees are one person
It is not only possible for there to be refugees that are on the dole and refugees refugees that "tuk ur jerbs" but also true
>>
Would it be better to join the Liberal Party and internally try to push it right or join a legitimate far-right party?

80% of refugees are still on the dole after 5 years in Australia.

The EU let the cat out of the bag on short term costs when it wanted to fine countries that wouldnt take rapefugees $250,000 for each one they didnt take.

>European countries that refuse to share the burden of high immigration will face a financial charge of about €250,000 per refugee, according to Brussels' plans to overhaul the bloc’s asylum rules.

>The punitive financial pay-off clause is one of the most contentious parts of the European Commission’s proposed revision of the so-called Dublin asylum regulation, due to be revealed on Wednesday.

>get a ton of useless people one welfare
>not enough welfare bux to go around, have to give them fewer
>wages fall since people are now more desperate
"Steal your job" is a stupid strawman.
>>

I worked with a bloke who became an MP and the process is basically selling your soul to a power "block" in the party. He was attending meetings for about 3 years before he was selected for a position on the ticket.

He then said one thing about Abbos and was dropped at the next election (disendorsed)

Labor just got their offices raided by the AFP. Turnbull is getting desperate lel

What happens when you take a country with social-welfare and an already shit job market and flood it with an influx of underskilled, uneducated people? Economically speaking he's not wrong at all. It puts stress on the tax payer, it causes low skill employability to fall due to higher competition. Whether it has a noticeable affect on the country or not is up for research/debate but you can't argue the facts.

People are scared these days for pointing out differences in culture and race like it's some taboo we shouldn't talk about. Anything mentioned about any culture whatsoever whether it's bad or neutral, people will pin incentives and throw words in your mouth even on the basis of bringing it up. It's like people know it's bad, but they don't want to be reminded.

the irony is that 250K euros is actually a small price to pay, given the evidence
>>
>Eating breakfast
>Check /pol/
>See threads like this
>Starting my day with a cup of rage

Legitimate concerns can't even be discussed without people screaming about racism. Absurd. I can't wait for the day that calling someone a "racist" means nothing because it is such an overused word.

Wait a decade. Identity politics is going to go painfully the other way when Europe starts imploding.

Fuck that shit. Australia First Party? One Nation?

>Refugees will steal ya job
>And be on the dole
There things are in no way mutually exclusive, are you retarded? Let me walk you through this
1. Take job ilegally
2. govt doesn't know, gives you dole

Take it from someone whose 50% of the economy is "informal", not only it happens, it happens a lot
>>
>>74450817
Doesn't work like that in Australia unless you have a disability. However that doesn't exclude some refugees from having jobs and some from just bumming on welfare.
>>
>>74452147
I know that in the UK, if you're receiving your wage under-the-table, you will still be paid Job Seekers allowance.
>>
>>74452236
Actually he's right.

If you're on the dole but still attending job interviews that basically drops wages because the boss can point at you to justify paying shit wages.

"Why should I pay you X when I have 100 bums lining up out the door?"
>>
>>74451931
The 14th through 19th amendments were mistakes, 17th excluded.

>not understanding that when talking about a large group of people that some might not be employed and others would be just to try to make a point
so your point is liberals are to dumb to understand how the world works?in either case its not good for the people who are citizens. supporting more welfare whores or having more competition
>>
>>74450673
We have millions of illegals that are doing both. You don't claim your income when you're working illegally and collecting cash under the table, you don't pay taxes, but you buddy up with one of the Liberal-run "cash for votes" cities to get your free ID, welfare, medical cards, and education.
>>
Why are ALP offices being raided?
>>
>>74452538
Sorry mate I should have explained my post better.

In your opinion, what is the best party to join to further our cause?

No idea, If your vote could change anything they would have banned it by now.

Make money and insulate yourself from the storm of fucktardery the next 30 years are going to be.
>>
>>74452715
How about you take the time to read party policies and make up your own mind?

Having you vote spoon feed is just as bad as the uniformed either major party.
>>
>>74452605
Because Turnbull is butthurt that his butchering of the NBN is being exposed
>>
>>74453071
Fair enough.
>>
>>74453071

What makes you think turnbull is behind it? It's probably some far left nutjob group who are upset that labor aren't as far left as them. Socialist Alliance already have a history of rading offices, they did it earlier this year to bernardi over corey bernardi
>>
>>74453233
It's not some far left nutjob group because it's the fucking AFP look at the news bruh
