According to my local morning news recent reports saying terrorism "looking much more likely" than technical failure. If so, where do you figure it was heading? Terrorists don't hijack a plane just to crash it into the ground.

>>
>>74453693
>>
>>74453565
It is extremely rare that one will crash in a way that they do not have enough time to get out a distress signal.

This plane disintegrated in midair, it was in mid flight and likely at an altitude out of reach for most SAM's.

Either the Egyptian maintenance or French airport security has allowed a bomb to get on board.

Bomb snuck on board no doubt

One of the countries the plane had been to recently have some explaining to do.
>>
>>74453601

It was either an anti-air missile. Or the screeners dropped the ball. People bitch about privacy when it comes to the TSA, but they bitch even harder when their mother goes down in a fireball. "This is too much, muh privacy", then, "why didn't you do enough to stop this from happening".

For the record, I try to avoid flying whenever possible. I hate airplanes. Once one is compromised, you are dead. At least in a car wreck there is a chance of survival. There is pretty much no chance in a plane wreck.
>>

It takes nearly 3 months to make a 777 from scratch, at 320M USD apiece, and you're talking about getting them up to 30k feet then blowing it the fuck up, all to take out ~400 people. To get rid of the millions in Europe, were talking about hundreds of billions if not trillions (money which they dont have anymore) on this little plan of yours. It'd be far cheaper and faster to make ships, stuff them full of refugees, and send them out into the middle of the med where they'd have an "accident".

BBC reporting this:

"Let's not try to jump to the side that is trying to identify this as a technical failure - on the contrary. The situation may point - and I say 'may' because I don't want to speculate and I don't want to go to assumptions like others - but if you analyse the situation properly, the possibility of having a different action, or having a terror attack, is higher than the possibility of having a technical [fault]."

We can even try world war two-era gliders and fly them into Africa. Then Africa can deal with diversity on it's own turf.

>>
>>74455325
Prop planes are still expensive; I dont think you realize how expensive in general the entire aviation industry is. A Cessna 152, probably one of the most built and sold aircraft in aviation history is $20,000 USD used for a plane that was built almost 50 years ago.
A 2005 Cessna 172 Skyhawk starts at around $150,000 USD. The 152 can carry *maybe* 3 people, while the 172 maybe 5.

To send 5 people back via a 172, assuming fully automated controls, thats $30,000 per person.
3 people back via a 152 is still $~6700.

And this is not factoring in that both will require external tankage and modified airframes to be able to make that trip, as both have ranges under 750 nautical miles, even less when fully laden.

I've come to this guess by reading comments on avherald, it's not like I am just pulling it out of my ass but it's still just a guess.

>What surprises me is that for more than 10 minutes BEFORE the abrupt turns and subsequent loss of altitude, the pilots do not answer any of the communication attempts by Greek and Egiptian controllers. That could mean that a) they were having technical problems and were already busy trying to solve them, or b) they were, for whatever the reason, prevented from communicationg with controllers. What seems implausible is that they first were in trouble at 2:39. Id est, what seems implausible is a sudden explosion at 2:39.

At 11:49, flight attendant Andreas Prodromou entered the cockpit and sat down in the captain's seat, having remained conscious by using a portable oxygen supply.[21][22] Prodromou held a UK Commercial Pilot License,[23] but was not qualified to fly the Boeing 737. Crash investigators concluded that Prodromou's experience was insufficient for him to gain control of the aircraft under the circumstances.[22] Prodromou waved at the F16s very briefly, but almost as soon as he entered the cockpit, the left engine flamed out due to fuel exhaustion,[22] the plane left the holding pattern and started to descend.[24] Ten minutes after the loss of power from the left engine, the right engine also flamed out,[24] and just before 12:04 the aircraft crashed into hills near Grammatiko.[24] There were no survivors.

True, but there's also the fact that giving planes high bandwidth satellite uplink hardware, incluing the networking and wiring to make it all work, will incur a small but not unnoticeable drag and weight penalty for each vehicle. It would also require a number of dedicated satellites to be launched into geostationary orbit, which is about $350M-500M USD per satellite. Setting up the ground-stations dedicated to getting it in is probably another $25-50M USD apiece.

Yeah we can do it, its just that its damned expensive.

Would be far more likely to rent a transponder on an existing satellite. Also that kinda hardware would need to be custom designed for planes to get around the issues you're talking about, that would mean some company would have to put in the R&D work then market it. It's unlikely the airlines would want to shoulder the costs of those upgrades.

Will this be just like 9/11 where we knew about it, let it happen, just so we can justify another war to get rich fucks and kikes wealthy and powerful?

>Muslims Killing Muslims

T-thanks guys.

Did they think they were going to get a bunch of Parisians? Or was the bomb just supposed to be supplementary damage for a building strike?

The plane went down at the only point where it was over the ocean. Clearly was intended to ensure maximum causalities.

water and land are identical in these types of crashes. it doesnt make a difference you still take enough gforces to turn you into paste
>>
>>74458726

your next, klaus.
>>
>>74459247
If it was for maximum casualties surely it would have been downed over a city
>>
>>74459320
If I were a muzzie trying to kill infidels I would blow that shit up right after taking off from Paris so it falls onto a school or some shit.
Blowing it up over the sea means their final score is the number of people on the plane.

I'm sure it does but I'm also sure plotting a hypothetical bombing puts me on a few more.

It takes a while for ISIS' news correspondent to get out of the cave and give the message to the news

They usually don't do that after just a few hours.

>>74459888
