The German economy was imploding before they even went to war. Their proposed internal infrastructure projects were a pipe dream and were largely unfinished before the war was over. Their external infrastructure projects never got off the drawing board. But they sure had all that technological progress right? Oh wait, they were technologically inferior to the US in terms of weapons and technologically inferior to the fucking Soviets when it came to tanks. They only thing they can lord over everyone else is rocketry and jet engine technology. Everyone else had the same tech or better.
