No, for the EU gun ban. They are planning to ban all semi-auto weapons that look like "automatic weapons of war", ie : AR15, AK, etc. Even if they are deactivated or if they are airsoft or non-firing replicas. They also plan to move all D2 weapons into category C, including blank guns and deactivated weapons, which means you'll need a license and a safe to own those, and they will be registered. The standards for deactivated weapons has already been changed last month, and now everything needs to be welded shut, including the magazine. Socialists and greens also suggested a special tax on guns and ammo, as well as much more stringent medical requirements for a license, banning people without a sufficient eyesight, for example, from owning weapons. They want to limit magazine capacity, to restrict the sale of magazines, spart parts and suppressors (already the case in France unfortunately). They want to create a European file of gun owners, so that everyone can know which guns you own, etc.
The LIBE rejected most of those points, however they are irrelevant when it comes to voting a law, and will most likely be bypassed. The socialists and greens absolutely want to pass that law at all costs.
