If the Confederate Flag must be banned for representing the Southern rebels, then should the flag of the USSR be banned for representing tyrants who quashed the freedoms of it's people, killed political dissenters, caused widespread starvation, and spread their ideaology to other nations to do the same?
Anti Communism is always justified.
Communists abuse liberal democracy to take power through subversion, deceit, and manipulation. If you give an inch, they take a mile. It is always justified because their ideology is inherently antithetical to the survival of the nation state.
