(Not sure if the map properly represent the intensity of fires, but AFAIK what is happening in Canada isn't all that unusual (apart from McMurray being in its way).)

It will probably take months to completely die out. But it won't threaten any more cities supposedly.

Reminder that we let a fire get so out of hand, the smoke plume from it blotted the sun for Eastern Canada and the US, and parts of Europe.
