I never said Canada has better television, quite the contrary I believe we've produced maybe 4-5 things worthy of international consumption. I was more referencing various European productions. Asian stuff even. Japanese game shows blow Western game shows out of the water completely when it comes to entertainment value, I've never split a lung laughing at Jeopardy.

Canadian TV is rubbish, most of our "Canadian Content" is laughably bad. Though there are a few diamonds buried in that rough.
And as for French TV I'll admit that's one I've yet to try and break into. There's some good stuff out of Germany, and I find the Scandinavians make good TV too.
