Just read an article in a SoCal paper that numbers in California trying to register as naturalized is up 10% from 70K to 77K from last year and nationwide it's up 14%.
Of course the process takes minimum 6 months to two years with an average of 8 months. I'm sure with an increase of applicants it will take longer. Plus, most states require registration about a month before the general election and you have to be legal to register.

Polls might be biased, but they're far less skewed than /pol/ makes them out to believe. Look at the makeup of Trump rallies and compare them to the polls about his base demographic, it's surprisingly accurate. Since the beginning of the election, it was my belief that the only candidates that would be able to win an election against Bernie or Hillary would be Paul or Trump.
I like Paul a lot, but I'm thinking that at this point, you need to use a bit of authoritarianism in order to get things back to the way things should be. When he dropped out after Iowa, it made my decision easy.
Like I said, I can't speak for everyone, but I imagine at least some of /pol/ felt the way I did.
