Cold War aside, why does the US hate Russia with a flaming passion? It seems like the US will shoot it's dick off to prevent Russia from doing anything. Plus they got the ultimate waifu.

Also why do people hate Putin, he seems like a nice guy and good leader. Is this the joos work?

I like Russia. They hate Muslims and love plutocracy. My kind of thing.

They aid governments we don't like (examples: Venezuela, Syria, North Korea, China).

Granted asylum to intelligence leaker (Snowden).

They try to cockblock us using the United Nations whenever we want to use our military (example: Iraq), but they cry like children when we do the same to them (example: missiles in Poland).

The real question is, why are you so eager to suck Russia's Dick?

WW2 left some things unsettled. Russia wants its east European territories back under its influence. They have struggled for influence over the middle east with England for more than a century too. They have also been invaded multiple times by Europe and are paranoid about security. One of the best way to protect your borders is to keep expanding them. Russia does not appear expansionist, but they are being contained hard.

One interesting thing. Look at Russia on a world map. It is not landlocked, but look at the options it has for maritime trade. Ports on the arctic ocean are not desirable. Navigation in the arctic is not always safe and ends up more expensive. The exit of the Baltic sea can be blockaded. So can the that of the Black sea (actually channels). The sea of Japan belongs to the US. The Yellow sea is accessible through Korea. This is what the Korean war was partly about. Note that they are being allowed to trade by sea, but the US wants to be able to cut if off at any time.

Who knows why there has to be such a struggle. Ancient political cabals must be in conflict.

Americans think Russia is fine. Every Russian I've dealt with has been pretty bsed. Even during the cold war I think it was more of opposing political ideals vs actual hate. I would 10,000% prefer a family of Russian imigrants for neighbors than a nigger family, beaners, or muslims.

Our political leaders may not like their leaders, or at least act like it, but I think overall we like having good them around as "bad guys" to justify all our dick waving.

They're the only other country worth a damn when it comes to spaceflight, though Japan will probably do human flight pretty well eventually.
I'm up for some more orbital bro-moments with Russia, last time was good shit all around.

But do you actually hate Russia though? I mean yes, they have opposing political.goals, and there has been posturing back and forth since the 30's. But I can't think of anyone who actually hates Russia or Russians. Even the crusty old submarine chiefs that were junior sailors during game the cold war that Ive talked to had more of a grudging respect towards Russia, no actual hatred. I do think things that answered the question at all.

People in the US literally do not give a single shit about Russia.

Meanwhile the general Rusian public believes in absurd conspiracy theories that link literally everything to US fighter jets or CIA agents, its fucking laughable
>>

Most US politicians currently in power grew up during the Red Scares of the 1920s and Cold War. They are indoctrinated to not trust anything associated with socialists and communists. And they are right to do so.

It's not the joos this time.
He is actually quite pro Israel/Judaism, funnily enough.
I think, if anything, he's the one that could bring some stability in the Middle-East.
That is why most of America and Saudi are pushing to make him look all bad and shiiiet.

>stability in the Middle-East
Eh, yeah. For the US, the petro-dollar system comes first (by a long shot).
