I am being audited and filed a 10-40ez. I made 48k last year and somehow they picked me. I claimed standard deduction and that's it. Point is, is that it can be random or if you have a ton of money and lots of donations or other things on your forms you will get double checked.

I agree with Trump on illegal immigrants, but I won't let that blind me to obvious bullshit. The fact that the IRS is taking a closer look doesn't mean he has to keep his returns secret. There is nothing in law or practice that requires or even recommends this.
This is just like his interview with the NYT, which Trump insists cannot be disclosed because it's "off the record," but it's only off the record to protect him.
