All my friends are South american. I live out west where we get a lot of them.
Brazilian, El Salvadorian, Mexican, Chilean are our main imports and the cultures I'm most familiar with..
I've experience a lot of their culture first hand.
Of the bunch Brazilian culture was the best. Good food, not degenerate or prone to fighting, crime, gangs, etc. Assimilated very well, entire family learns english, looks pretty white too so blends in well. Tons of them became american patriots. They still liked their home country but they recognized it was a shit hole and they loved america for giving them this opportunity.
Mexicans are always the worst. They refuse to assimilate, send their kids to public school to learn english yet only speak spanish themselves. They come here for a better life but then bring everything shitty with them, their diets, attitudes, cultural celebrations. It's like they can't connect behavior to reality they think America just happens to be better for no particular reason and not because we built it that way by our traditions habits and work ethic. And they are by a huge margin the most likely to be illegals.
El Salvadorians are alright. Like a middle ground between Brazilians and Mexicans. They don't assimilate quite as well, but they're nowhere near as bad as mexicans. Still recognize their country is shit, not as patriotic, more prone to stupid shit and violence but manageable if they get an education and a decent job early on. Chileans kept to themselves but didn't seem to cause a lot of trouble. Generally learned the language. They seemed like the ones who detached from their home culture the easiest. They didn't bring a lot of cultural baggage with them.
I don't even waste my time with mexicans anymore. The only decent one I've ever met was adopted and raised entirely by white people from a very young age. They are unsalvageable and we need to build a fucking wall. It's almost too bad they ruined it for everyone else desu.
