Newt will be VP.
The left will be unable to resist hitting Newt over his petty, inconsequential scandals. This gives Trump cover to be as savage a motherfucker as he likes about Bill's past without impacting his negatives. This is high level positioning. Watch. He will be VP. Trump will quiet down a bit about Bill. Hillary or a surrogate will attack, then the most epic of stumpings will begin. Trump will appear, as he did with his campaign manager, to be a loyal and effective attack dog for his friends, convincing the electorate that he will do the same for the country. His assault will be seen as a defense.
Imagine the VP debate! Gingrich will wipe the floor with whatever empty pantsuit Hillary nominates. This election is about competence and truth. Gingrich is the guy for this. And who has more dirt on the Clintons than Newt? You know he has a safe somewhere with unused ammo from the 90s...
Additionally, Trump is more vulnerable from the right than the left. His foreign policy alone will convince many lefties to abandon Hillary the Invader. Evangelicals and other "values voters" on the right are reasonably skeptical of Trump. They all love Newt for his role in the 90s. Remember, he was the Speaker who impeached Bill, among many legislative accomplishments for the right. He is a Conservative folk hero.
