That's just it, the people know something is amiss, and there is something not right going on, whether or not they will admit it.
But if you find the proper grounding and stance, you can be at least an ear that will listen to them. By doing this, you get yourself a small group. Perhaps it will grow, or perhaps not. The point is, you used your place in this moment in time to be somebody different from the wrongness around us. By distinguishing yourself that way, you'll be closer to seeing people who who they are and where they stand.
Is it fast? Absolutely not. This is not a one person job. You need a lot of them willing to step up to the plate and be that person that you would want to listen to. Be that person that you could be lead by.
I don't personally know the next step from there, but I'd rather take that step than just give up and let another new years eve party happen again without my trying to fight back against it as I reasonably can as but one man.
