The actual wall isn't the actually important part, though it will help. It's easier to focus on basic shit like a wall rather than make people think you're sleepy Ben by rambling on about deportation laws and making yourself actually look bad by discussing the necessity of breaking up families that choose to not abide by the law.

2. When you fix the holes in the visa system you make sure the other 60% doesn't have a chance to come back

Also, most of them aren't here on expired visas. I live in the south west, and actually know quite a few illegals. None of them are on expired visas.
