I brush my teeth twice a day. I use mouth wash. I make sure I don't miss a spot. My teeth are still yellow and I have to get my shit fixed by a dentist every 3 years.

Conspiracy memery aside, what fluoride does is turns the main mineral that makes up your teeth , hydroxyapatite, into fuorapatite, which is a harder mineral that is attacked less by acidic food or bacterial products. It decreases the likelihood you'll get cavities, but it doesn't change the color of your teeth.

My teeth suck. Despite brushing three times a day, flossing regularly, using mouthwash 3 times a day i still get cavities all the time. Saturday is my final dentist appointment in my treatment plan.

I spoke with a dentist once who was having an "honesty moment."
He said as long as you brush regularly (twice a day) and floss at least periodically, you only have to visit the dentist when you are having a problem with your teeth. Everything else is just padding the bill.
