Most of the antisemitism surveys have questions concerning diaspora and its allegiance. Having such diaspora uphold the interest of its host nation and show interest in it isn't bad per se, but polls invariably take it as a sign of an antisemite.

It comes right down to jealousy. Furthermore, Greeks are mentioned numerous times in the torah, pictured as enemies of the jews and the ones responsible for spreading Christianity. Before you go on a knee jerk reaction and blame the merchant, please take into account just how much Greeks themselves have wrecked their own economy to the point of unsustainability. For instance, Greece has (or at least HAD) military industry of their own. At one point the government ceased domestic orders and began importing American bling at an ever increasing pace, forcing Greek companies to either fold up or take on different markets.
