Well I found some actual news about strict Islamists stoning woman to death over it. I couldn't find anything specifically about women being raped for not wearing the veil, but rapes (gang or otherwise) happen frequently to women in Islamic countries, and the punishment for adultery (sleeping with someone other than the husband) is death, or at least a lashing. In addition there is jail time and lashing for not wearing the veil in most Islamic countries as well.
