A solar setup would run anywhere from a grand to ten grand depending how many AMP hours you would need. Also you would require a generator, gasoline. Solar won't do shit in a Siberian winter.
A cistern would be absolutely mandatory as well as a Ram Pump if running water is nearby.
A composting toilet would eliminate a pit toilet entirely and a 12 volt fan would keep odors non-existent.
Heat can be obtained through a fuel efficient Rocket Stove setup. The simplest ones would be three cinder blocks stacked on top of each other.
Internet can be obtained via a WIFI or 3/4g extender/repeater. An extender can pick up a signal up to 20 to 30 miles away for the really expensive ones. For the truly remote, outrageous satellite internet.
The only hard part would be shelter and how much you're willing to spend for your creature comforts out in the middle of nowhere.
