I only have a clue from when I took my college entrance exams. My score corroborated with 125 IQ, but I didn't prepare for it at all. Literally walked into it without any fucks to give and hoped for the best, so either I lucked my way to handful of points above the national average or my IQ could be slightly higher if I had some preparation.

I hope I made you proud, /pol/. It's been a while since I did this, so I'm pretty rusty. Also noticed I was slow in figuring out patterns and shortcuts. Still, I tried my best for all of you. Only took the test once, to ensure no cheating by memorizing patterns or w/e--I kind of wanted to know how far my mind has degraded as years passed by anyways.

1. That is an internet test, not a real test. The purpose for the internet test is to make people interested in taking the real test, because that means $$ for Mensa. Thus it gives very optimistic results.
2. It is very likely that the people, who got very low score, didn't see any reason to post their result. Therefore the results in the thread are likely to be skewed.

If you pick the same answer for every question (e.g. always picking top-left answer), it says the results are too low to be accurately measured. If you pick at random each time, you get 95. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself.
If picking at random gives you an IQ (95) equal to the real average IQ (100), what does that say about this test? It's obviously not very good.

The one my psychologist gave me took like 3 hours and it had a pattern portion like the one here as well as solving patterns by assembling blocks into what you think the correct answer should be but it also included word association, having strings of numbers read off to me and then me repeating them back, sometimes in backwards order from which they were given, and fact-based questions like "what is the circumference of the Earth at its equator?" and other stuff like that
the people who score highly on these tests are just going through a mental checklist

This looks like another case of rotating clockwise, but with the side "flips".
Look at the second row, second column. Rotate clockwise, then flip the sides. Then add that figure to the first figure (square) on the 2nd row and you get that shape.
