I wasn't in Compton. We did decide to drive our rented car through Compton on the last day for the lulz. After driving past the white MLK memorial we went to buy stamps at the post office (for collection). In spite of the fact that there was no queue, it took us half an hour because of the fact that the workers were black.
Drove through Compton at 1pm for around 30 minutes. Didn't see anything too sketchy, since I've been to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia quite a bit. Was astonished by the amount of litter, discarded trolleys and homeless people though.
