So I can't really find a good answer to this anywhere, was hoping someone here could explain this to me. In what way are traditional anarchists against capitalism? I mean, isn't the whole basis of capitalism voluntary trade between separate parties? I understand that there's many branches of anarchism, and how 'social anarchists' could be against it. But if the core concept of traditional anarchism is just the removal of the state and individual liberty, wouldn't that go hand in hand with capitalism?
What am I missing here /pol/?

Obviously I'm not talking about the capitalism that exists in western societies today, but the actual concept of capitalism. Every time I look at articles on the concept of anarchism I see 'anarchism is against both socialism and capitalism' or something to that effect, but I haven't really seen a good explanation for why

/pol/ pls help I do not fucking understand
>>73662999
It seems that anarchism has become what extra edgy socialist call themselves.

I mean yeah maybe to an extent. But even in journal articles that I've read on anarchism they say that at it's core anarchism is anti capitalism. I mean, I kind of understand that in the sense that they're anti government controlled banks and financial institutions etc. But obviously anarchism supports voluntary trade between individuals, and that's the core concept of capitalism.
Also would anarchists be against banks? Maybe it's just edgy teenage garbage but I've seen a lot of pro anarchist stuff saying down with banks. What part of private banks would go against the ideology of anarchism? Assuming that the currency was something with actual value and not just controlled by the federal reserve. Like are anarchists anti money even? Really feel like I'm missing something here.

>Time for a third way
NatSoc it is then

Anarchism is supposed to be about bringing chaos...this pollitical ideology did not surface until recently.
Some would say taking out the banks could cause chaos, however to bolster it as a moral/political ideology like kids do now is just incorrect. Seems like we should lable it hipster anarchism. They want to sound tough without having to go to jail for stealing a car just for fun and no gain.
Before the redpill I was a degenerate, punk, and an anarhist...

It's not about creating chaos though it's just about the removal of the state. Sure, chaos comes with that to an extent, but it's not the goal.
I just don't understand why they would be against capitalism though. Literally watching a lecture right now and the lecturer is saying that anarchists believe in surplus labour theory. ???!?!?!?!?!?? Surplus labour theory comes from marxism, which is inherently all about coercion and government control. How can an ideology based on freedom and removal of the state be against VOLUNTARY INTERACTIONS BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS!?!?!?

No, the dictionary term has been around much longer than sex pistols mysic. Has nothing to do with smashing the state. Anarchy is borderline nhialism. Just causing chaos and disorder.

And once again anti capatolism aspect of it is modern.

anarchism
ˈanəkJz(ə)m/Submit
noun
belief in the abolition of all government and the organization of society on a voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion.
Nothing about chaos there m8. Anarchy literally means without a head, it's about abolishing the state.
